False sense of progress
To them, eyes are not to look, ears are not to hear, thoughts are not food for the minds, and inner voices are to be silenced. They feed on cash and breathe laudation. With promises they lure you in: “Money breeds money – one tiny seed, big harvestment. “
Joining them is easy. All you need to be is a bit gullible. What’s hard is what to do when your eyes are opened and you do not like what you see. Should you stay there? So many people do, and they seem to be enjoying a life of wealth. Why can’t you?
Why can’t you?
I think you know why. Every action causes an outcome. People who reap what they did not sow will eventually have to pay back what’s not theirs. A golden palace could not possibly stand if the ground beneath cracked open. And you can see it, the lines on the ground; meanwhile, those in power, eyes completely shut, keep piling up more story upon story without noticing the ground sinking. Maybe they do notice it. They know time’s running out and on one hand, grab as much possession as possible, while the other gestures to the public that everything is going great.
You’ve seen it before, and not just one time. You see it more as you walk with life. This blindness disease will continue to haunt those who are greedy. The rest of us know better: A life of dignity in a well-fitting home, with eyes to observe the day transition into night, and ears to hear birds singing and rain falling.
